Banjo-Tooie - Canary Mary Race

Daily tumblr thing #300. I like to celebrate milestones with things that left a big impact on me. What better impact to draw than a memorable victory? Canary Mary’s races are the reason I’ve learned how to mash buttons with ungodly speed. I don’t know how many hours I spent in Cloud Cuckooland getting miserably trounced, but rest assured, it was a lot. It wasn’t until a decade later that I was able to last more than ten seconds. But once I could, I became unstoppable. No matter how many times I leave her in the dust, that victorious glee never goes away, and I can’t help but cackle. To this day, I still get drunk with power whenever a button-mashing challenge presents itself. It’s probably why nobody ever plays Mario Party with me anymore.

This one came out okay, but I feel like there's a lot of lost potential with the colors and the background - I wimped out and shoved everything to the lower right. That said, I'm always happy just to get these milestone dailies done with.
